Hacienda
de las Rosas is located in San Diego County, California ~ in the
town of Ramona, known as the "Valley of the Sun". Surrounded
by picturesque mountains, this property has been designed as a
park-like setting. The home is constructed in hacienda-style
adobe with a formal courtyard and fountain. The winery is
modeled after the first of the California missions ~ San Diego de
Alcala. In addition to the 300 tree avocado forest, beautiful
flowers and roses are displayed on paths throughout the property.

The horses reside in a
beautiful wood stable
and large mesh enclosures. With oak trees, large pastures
and rolling hills, the idea is to have a natural setting for our
horses. A small arena with round pen is used for training.
Local trails are accessible from the property for trail riding
experience and fun.

Owning and operating a horse ranch has been a
dream of Tammy's since she was a little girl. After riding a
gaited horse on a trail ride, she began research on the gaited
breeds, and chose the Peruvian Paso Horse for its smooth ride,
beauty and sweet personality. With Southern California
becoming one of the fastest growing areas for wineries and
vineyards, William began research and took viticulture courses at
UC Davis. He began making wine in the Spanish tradition,
while using modern technology, to produce wines that are now
featured in some of San Diego's finest dining locations.
With their children - Saum, Shireen and Jonathan - they have
created a family-owned enterprise that encompasses their passions
and dreams.
